Seriously people, stop it with the whiny butthurt. I'm sorry that the rest of the world isn't just patting your ass and saying nice, sparkly things to you, but you want to know why? It's probably because you are not a special, sparkly, shiny little princess. If you ask for critique on your art, characters, whatever and whine and cry FOWL when you actually GET it, then nobody is really going to want to have anything to do with you anymore.

I am just SO TIRED of seeing people throwing hissy fits when they don't get instant adoration for their crappy, half-assed recolors that not only don't MAKE ANY SENSE, but are also frankly bland and boring as well. No, sorry princess, I'm not going to tell you I looooveee your senshi if she's some SUPER MEGA POWERFUL BEAUTIFUL little hogall, and I'm not going to gleespasm over a character that looks like a rainbow vomit version of Sailor Pluto. You butthurt people need to shape up, grow up, and realize that the people who are saying "ZOMGMEEEN" things to you are JUST TRYING TO HELP.

So, uh, yeah. I'm sure some of you guys who I'm talking about here will pop your heads in and AGREE WITH ME COMPLETELY, fully unwitting that, uh, yeah. I'm talking about you, Princess.

Except for you, my fellow bitch sisters. You guys are always awesome.

but I'm in on this with you ^^, most people don't appriciate what the original artists have done and just recolor over it(which I also think is terribly wrong, if you wish to recolor or edit something...at least make some changes so that they don't look like the original character).
I sometimes watch video's on youtube with oc's/rpc's, and many of them are recolors. some of them are good, others are so bad it almost makes me want to cry.

I know that some of my senshi's are recolors...but I'm trying to at least make them look original, even if that sometimes doesn't come out the way I want

but yeah...I know what you mean ^^

More like being fed up with all the people who do this, and then wonder why nobody is trying to console them when they throw their blatantly obvious "pity parties" by saying they're going on hiatus from the internet FOREVER AND EVER and then come back three days later.

I get fed up with those type of people to, I mean if you want comments and stuff you place your images around here right? but if you can't handle the comments given to you...you can either try to appriciate them, or not place the images. I really appriciate the comments and stuff I get, though I'm sometimes a bit sad when I worked hard on something(like my wizards drawing) and I don't get comments, but even so...it doesn't mean people don't like it right? ^^ and I try to appriciate everything I get, even when the comments sometimes don't come as I want them, but I still try to appriciate them.

You know... I actually have no problem with those kinds of characters. The thing I have a problem with is the "princess" attitude that says you have to like their character just because it is theirs.

Now, if you make a Sailor VomitRainbow and are fully aware that she's your self insert and that a lot people aren't going to like her. I can respect that, because that just means you're having fun and don't really give a fuck what other people think 'cuz you're just trying to please yourself. That's honest and I'll let you do your own thing.

But if you make Sailor VomitRainbow and expect everyone to love her and even say you're dead serious on doing something with this character (but lash out at critique that's only trying to help you make it better). Now that, I can't get behind.
