And then she turns around and does the EXACT same thing with other people's posts. Internet posts do have tone, it's based upon the way they are written.

Also, yes yes yes, it's such misplaced anger. I used to know one hell of a trailer trash lady in my neighborhood (um, lady, you weigh like 200 pounds. NOBODY WANTS TO SEE YOU WALTZING AROUND OUTSIDE IN AN OVERSIZED TSHIRT), who let her dog wander around without a leash.

The dog, on the other hand, was the smartest on the block and lived to eventually die... from old age.

So, who wants to call dogs stupid now?

Yeah, I get that it came off wrong, but I guess you just learn to deal with the lack of nonverbal cues on the internet (using "like" or "lol" or "jk" in your posts!). For example, it's a lot different to say 'hey, ho!' to your girlfriends in person vs. somebody you don't know well online. I'd probably be like '...you're kidding, right? right???' It got out of hand, and I'm really surprised the mods didn't shut it down, but I think Sakky is right--we did all learn something. At the very least, how NOT to write a post!
